Betsy Palmer (November 1, 1926 - May 29, 2015) was an American actress, famous for having portrayed Pamela Voorhees, the mother of the later star Jason Voorhees in the first two films of Friday the 13th. In the first film, she was the main killer and she just appeared as a hallucination of Jason's mind.
