About the character[]
He is a doctor in medicine who has graduated recently and who rides with his girlfriend Vicky in a car towards their new home in Seattle, Washington, where they intend to live. They both are happy together.
On their way they casually discover the town of Gaitlin when they inadvertently run over a dying boy who was fleeing from there and had erratically crossed the road. When they reach the town because of this, they meet the cult of the corn who has taken over the town and which has the intention to kill them. For that purpose they kidnap Vicky as part of a plan to kill him and later her. He is therefore forced to fight the cult.
With the help of Sarah and Job, who he finds there and who hate the cult, he achieves that. After that he and Vicky adopt Sarah and Job and go away from Gaitlin. It is implied that they later report to the authorities, what happened in Gaitlin, which will later lead to the events in The Children of the Corn II.
