Devil's Due is an American supernatural horror film directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, written by Lindsay Devlin. The film stars Allison Miller, Zach Gilford, and Sam Anderson. The film was released on January 17, 2014.

PlotEdit

After a mysterious, lost night on their honeymoon, a newlywed couple finds themselves dealing with an earlier-than-planned pregnancy. While recording everything for posterity, the husband begins to notice odd behavior in his wife that they initially write off to nerves, but, as the months pass, it becomes evident that the dark changes to her body and mind have a much more sinister origin.

ProductionEdit

On December 18, 2012, Fox Studios announced that Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett would direct the film with producer John Davis and a script written by Lindsay Devlin. Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett are members of the filmmaking collective Radio Silence known for their work as Chad, Matt & Rob and the horror anthology V/H/S, the other two members, Chad Villella and Justin Martinez, are credited as producer and visual effects supervisor, respectively, on Devil's Due.

On March 1, 2013, Fox announced that Zach Gilford was set to star in the film with Allison Miller.

Shooting began March 10, 2013 in the Dominican Republic for five days and March 25, 2013 in New Orleans.

On October 15, 2013, Fox set January 17, 2014 as a release date for the film.
