Devil's Kettle is a fictional town based loosely on Grand Marais, Minnesota, United States. It is named after the real life Devil's Kettle, which is in Judge C.R. Magney state park. It's where much of the events of Jennifer's Body takes place.

The town is named after a waterfall that goes down into a whirlpool. It seems to go no place. Some say it's another dimension, others say it's too deep. The waterfall is where Jennifer was sacrificed to Satan by the Satan worshiping band, Low Shoulder.
