Mystery of the Wax Museum is a 1933 American pre-Code mystery horror film directed by Michael Curtiz and released by Warner Bros. in two-color Technicolor. The film stars Lionel Atwill, Fay Wray, Glenda Farrell, and Frank McHugh. It received positive reviews and audiences. In 1953, a remake titled House of Wax was released.
Plot[]
A wise-cracking reporter investigates a series of murders and disappearances which leads her to a new wax museum in town which is owned by a wheelchair-bound former sculptor.
