Halloween is an American horror franchise that consists of 10 slasher films. It also has gone on to produce novels, and comic books. The franchise focuses on the fictional character of serial killer Michael Myers. A fact not widely known, is that the intended title was "The Babysitter Murders." After production it was decided that "Halloween" better fitted the tone of the movie and went on to define the franchise.
