Meanwhile Orlok's servant, Knock (Alexander Granach), prepares for his master to arrive at his new home.

Nosferatu In Other Movies (And TV)[]

Shadow Of The Vampire (2000): F. W. Murnau (John Malkovich) is struggling to create his silent classic "Nosferatu" on location in Eastern Europe. The director is obsessed with making this the most authentic vampire movie ever. To that end, Murnau has employed a real vampire, Max Schreck (Willem Dafoe), explaining to the crew that he is the ultimate of that new breed, the "method actor" -- trained by Stanislavsky himself. Schreck will appear only in character and only at night.

SpongeBob (1999): Nosferatu (real name Count Orlok) is a character who first appears in the episode "Graveyard Shift". He also appears in the Nintendo DS version of the video game SpongeBob's Truth or Square. Nosferatu is a vampire from the titular 1922 film, and is an employee of the Krusty Krab who works as the night shift manager. "Squidferatu" is a SpongeBob SquarePants episode from season 13. In this episode, Squidward ventures to Nosferatu's castle after accidentally receiving his mail. Kidferatu is a character who resides in the Trawler cabin with Preda Tory, Jimmy Blobfish, and Roxy. He is the son of Nosferatu and first appears in the episode "Cabin of Curiosities".

Nosferatu The Vampyre (1979): Jonathan Harker is sent away to Count Dracula's castle to sell him a house in Virna, where he lives. But Count Dracula is a vampire, an undead ghoul living off men's blood. Inspired by a photograph of Lucy Harker, Jonathan's wife, Dracula moves to Virna, bringing with him death and plague... An unusually contemplative version of Dracula, in which the vampire bears the cross of not being able to get old and die.
