The Uninvited is a 1944 horror film starring Ray Milland, Gail Russell, Ruth Hussey, Donald Crisp, and Cornelia Otis Skinner. It was nominated for the 1945 Oscar for Best Cinematography, Black-and-White. It is known as the first horror film to actually show the ghost’s appearance on-camera.
Plot[]
Two siblings move into a seaside gothic mansion which they soon realize was because of it’s unsavory past, and their neighbor’s daughter somehow has a strange connection to the past events.
