Something that's been bugging me for a while about Freddy vs. Jason in relevance to Freddy's Dead. (Freddy vs. Jason being my first film in either of the two slashers' series, Freddy's Dead being the last of the series I saw)
So, in Freddy's Dead, it's said that Freddy killed all the kids of Springwood. That's why only the adults are there, put into mass psychosis.
Yet, in Freddy vs. Jason, there are high school students everywhere, who would be about 16-18. It was about four years since Freddy's death, return, and covering up his existence to erase fear of him. Lori was 14 when this process took place.
So, where were Lori, Will, Kia, and the others in Freddy's Dead? All their parents knew about Freddy so they must have been there at the time of the mass psychosis. Like, high school was as full of students as there normally would be, where were all of they in Freddy's Dead?
Does this basically retcon Freddy vs. Jason, Jason Goes to Hell, and Jason X out of continuity? Meaning the true endings of the series are Freddy's Dead and Jason Takes Manhattan?
