Freddy vs. Jason sequel

So, apparently, the sequel to Freddy vs. Jason was cancelled in 2009. For good reason, because both series were served remakes. In 2006, it was mentioned that Michael Myers was in consideration for it, and the other idea was that Ash Williams would appear. The Ash idea is now a comic, and the Michael idea may never see the light of day. I've read that the sequel idea is still floating around, though, as a slim possibility. Does anyone here have any ideas that would make the sequel awesome if it were to happen? How could Freddy and Jason meet again, or who could join them? Michael? Ash? Someone else entirely? Any ideas?
