Billy Hitchcock is a main character in Final Destination. He was a senior student at Mt. Abraham High, and was one of the students aboard Volee Airlines Flight 180.
Billy was the fifth survivor of Flight 180 to die.
Biography[]
Billy Alfred Hitchcock was born on May 14, 1982. He attended Mt. Abraham High School and resided in Mt. Abraham, New York.
Flight 180[]
He was supposed to board Flight 180 with his classmates for their senior trip to Paris, but he got stuck in the airport's restroom just before the plane's departure. He arrives just as Alex Browning and Carter Horton are being thrown off the plane, and is one of seven students to get off the plane.
Billy looks out the window as the plane takes off.
Just as the airport security and Valerie were trying to calm down Alex, he watches the airplane take off. Moments later, he witnesses the plane explode in mid-air.
Aftermath[]
Billy and the others are taken to a room as they wait for the FBI to show up. He is later questioned and minutes later, he gets picked up by his parents. Thirty-nine days later, he and the other survivors attend a memorial service for the victims. He talks to Alex if he’s a psychic and asks if he is going die, then asks if a girl named Cynthia Paster is going to say no if Billy asks her out.
Alex and Billy talk.
A couple days later, he encounters the other survivors at a cafe, where he witnesses Terry Chaney's death. After Ms. Valerie Lewton's death, he reunites with the other survivors to discuss what they should do.
Death[]
As the remaining survivors drive through town, Carter learns that he is next on Death's list and begins to drive recklessly through the streets. When Carter parks his car on railroad tracks, he becomes trapped, but Alex manages to save him just seconds before his car is smashed by an oncoming train.
Billy’s death.
As Billy warns the others to stay away from Carter, he is suddenly decapitated by flying shrapnel from the car wreckage.

- Billy is named after director Alfred Hitchcock.
- Billy was overweight in the original script; this was changed after Seann William Scott was cast.
